We’d love you to join us for this one day floral workshop in November where Leigh will guide you through making a stunning table centrepiece arrangement using seasonal flowers, berries and foliage. Once you’ve created your own floral masterpiece we’ll explore styling, backdrops and props with myself and stylist/photographer Jamie Jamison.

Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham is the perfect location for exploring winter light. With its fairytale exterior and decadent interior, we have the perfect setting to explore Dutch Masters inspired scene styling. This magical setting was the scene for a flower festival back in July and you can read and see more of the house on my last blog post here

We are so excited to have guest Jamie Jamison from the States join us. I met Jamie through Instagram when I started using her #petalsandprops hashtag. She was a huge inspiration for my own work and I love her bold and vibrant style. She captures light so beautifully and we are so happy that she can share her knowledge as a photographer, stylist and Instagram coach at this workshop.

This will be a fun and relaxed day of inspiration and creativity exploring the still life paintings of the Dutch Golden Age. We’ll create a floral centrepiece using seasonal flowers and foliage. Together we’ll explore the lighting and props that make up the mood and style of the period. Books, botanical elements, shells and fruits are all significant when recreating a Dutch master and of course the incredible use of natural light.

We will explore how we can use natural light to create beautiful and striking imagery and talk through editing methods and apps to make your image really stand out on social media.

You will need to bring your own camera or Iphone to photograph your work. All flowers and equipment will be provided. The class size will be limited so there will be plenty of time for 1-1 and Q&A’s. Flowers and vessel, refreshments and a light lunch are included in the price.
